Apple Music for Android updated with user profiles and voice support

Apple is updating Apple's Android operating system application with new features that are first introduced in the iOS 11 operating system today. Social profiles can be the biggest addition on Android, iOS and Desktops, now you can create an Apple Music user profile and publicly show it to the friends you're listening to, just like Spotify.

But Apple also continues to put a little extra work to improve Apple's music for the Android platform. This latest version also adds support for Google Voice commands. So you can ask your Android smartphone to play a song, an artist or a radio, Apple will automatically open music and start streaming. Simple quick test of "OK Google, play 1 beat on Apple Music" was a hit for me.

There is now a "recently played" widget that joins the previous operation controls. Apple continues experimenting with shortcuts, having added a long press shortcut to BitS 1, another new bit of this update.
